Setting inspiration

Route setting is a creative process. If you lack inspiration, want to challenge your settings habits or want to dive deeper into the learning process, this tool is intended to help you along the way.

There are no hard and fast rules, setting is a personal process, but here are some ideas:

• Try to figure out a problem according to the suggestions above. Use this as a starting point, not as law set in stone. See what your brain makes out of these keyword.
• If you spend too much time and it doesn't work, don't get stuck. Don't be afraid to throw your draft away and start new, or try a different suggestion.
• Favour trying out the moves over thinking about them too long.
• Some combinations of suggestions might not make sense at first. Try to figure out something creative anyways. Again, don't waste too much time if it doesn't work.
• Remember, people will try any holds of your problems as hand and/ or foot holds in any position and/ or combination. Or skip holds.
• Please don't publish couch sets. Even if it looks good on paper, most of the times the problems turn out differently than expected and the quality is poor.
