The Global (Mini) Moonboard Session 2025

The Global (Mini) Moonboard Session 2025 took place between 26th of April and 25th of May 2025.

It was the first ever community-based fun climbing comp on the two Mini Moonboard setups (2020 + 2025) - and propably on any Moonboard setup.

A total of 42 climbers of all levels joined on both Mini setups, creating 36 unique, creative, fun - but also challenging - competition problems for the participants and the rest of the community. Several of those problems have been benchmarked since then!

On the first day of the comp, climbers were faced with a randomly selected and personally assigned random start and top hold. It was then their task to set a comp problem within 9 days (one week incuding the surrounding weekends) as their entry ticket into the competition.
Psyche was high when all the participants tried to climb each others problems in order to win the climbing competition.
Climbers also had to rate each others problems. The rating was used to derive the problem ranking honoring the setters creativity.
Optionally, climbers could join a personal goal setting challenge where they had to estimate the number of sends they would make in the comp correctly.

Overall, it was a lot of fun!
